Do CEREC dental crowns cost more than traditional crowns?

This question really depends on the provider that you are seeing. A CEREC crown is made in the office and many times made in the same day. Your provider may charge a same day fee to receive a CEREC crown.

The costs of a CEREC crown should not be that much more, if at all more, than a traditional crown.

If you have dental insurance, then a CEREC crown should be the same price as a traditional crown. Just because a CEREC crown is a more accurate and efficient way of getting a crown, does not mean that the cost should be higher.

So the moral of the story is that CEREC crowns do not cost more than traditional crowns in most offices.  As always, it is my hope that this post has been helpful.
