Dental Implant Damage. This issue is actually quite rare as the materials used are so strong, however, occasionally it happens. The tooth replacement may become worn or chipped and in very rare cases, the implant itself may be damaged. In these cases the damaged components need replacement:

Loose Implants. A loose implant is a dental implant that isn't properly immobilized. This can cause mild to severe movement which can, in turn, cause pain or discomfort. Treatment typically consists of tightening the components or replacing them entirely.

• Causes. The most common causes are issues related to placement, healing, implant stress, bone loss, and gum disease.

Follow their instructions exactly, especially while healing

Don't overload the implant with undue stress

Practice proper dental hygiene

Have regular cleanings
