About Dr. Melanie Silvestrini

Dr. Melanie earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, DMD, degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and has completed a robust general and surgical residency training in her home state of New York’s prestigious Northwell Health’s hospital system where she advanced her surgical skillset, ranging from advanced oral diagnosis, oral surgery, molar endodontics, and fixed/implant prosthodontics.

By striving for both clinical and research excellence, Dr. Melanie was awarded the American Academy of Dental Science (AADS) Scholarship and received two First Place awards for national presentations in dental materials research. She has presented her research internationally from NYC to Germany and Canada. Dr. Melanie holds an orthodontic dental materials publication in the Journal of Dental Science.

As a highly trained and skilled dentist, Dr. Melanie has completed advanced courses in facial esthetics and TMJ Disorders including Neurotoxin (Botox) and Dermal Fillers. With passion, Dr. Melanie works with her patients on an individual level to offer personalized facially driven treatment plans that suit their unique concerns.

Dr. Melanie brings a vast array of dental skills and expertise combined with an artist's touch that allows her to design beautiful smiles for her patients, using the latest dental technologies and materials. Dr. Melanie’s specialties range from general dental treatments to cosmetic dental procedures, like veneers, Invisalign® clear aligners, and full-mouth rehabilitation. In her free time, Dr. Melanie enjoys spending time working on her community outreach initiative that succeeds in providing underserved youth and international pro bono initiatives. She is also a host for the podcast, Dental Talk 360, where a patient-centered approach is taken to explain common dental topics with dentists from all over the United States. She truly enjoys bringing the beauty out of people not only through dentistry but also through education on how to live an optimal and healthy life. Dr. Silvestrini's advantage is utilizing the resources and technology at Implant Center of Miami to get an oversight of the smile makeover customization process to reduce turnaround times, and to deliver better access to resources for patients after their care.

The patient's smile underwent a comprehensive transformation with 10 upper porcelain veneers, enhancing tooth aesthetics. Accompanied by a precise laser gingivectomy, the gum line was refined for a balanced look. Botox injections were also administered to minimize the appearance of a gummy smile, resulting in a natural and confident grin. Dr. Silvestrini's integrated approach showcases the seamless blend of advanced dental techniques for a remarkable smile makeover.
